Molten Aluminum Quality Detecting Hydrogen Analyzer in High Pressure Die Casting Area
This technique is fast, accurate over a broad measurement range and offers outstanding reproducibility. It is recognized by the industry with more than 400 units sold worldwide.
The hydrogen analyzer is designed to survive the severe plant environment.
The analyzer is automated, easy to use and can be operated by non-technical floor personnel. Once started up, the unit operates autonomously and requires no special attention.
1. Usage
The hydrogen analyzer, which works on the Straube-Preiffer test principle (decompression solidification test method),
is used to qualitatively measure the content of hydrogen in molten aluminum. A decompression solidification test is
conducted to make a solidification sample of molten aluminum under the conditions of decompression (a vacuum degree
determined according to the technological requirements). Subsequently, the sample is analyzed by various methods to
qualitatively determine the content of hydrogen in molten aluminum in an indirect way. It can be used for quality control
during aluminum alloy casting and for smelting detection.
2. Using Conditions
---There is no conductive dust, explosive gas and corrosive gas that can seriously damage metal and insulation.
All electrical installations should not be damaged by physical and chemical operations (eg, thermal effects of the
environment, moisture, etc.) during normal operation.
