Product Description:

The High Efficient Aluminium Purification Return Launder Type In-line Rotory Degassing Unit(LDU) is characterised by its enhanced degassing performance and high power-saving efficiency. It uses degassing rotors that are installed in the launder that runs lengthwise between the melting furnace and casting machine. The rotors then severly divide the degassing zone into multiple parts and provides a multi-level in-line degassing process.The number of rotors employed largely depends on the flow rate of the molten aluminum. Owing to such a mechanism, the LDU manages to offer higher degassing efficiency when compared to conventional degassing techniques. The results are improved aluminium quality and excellent degassing performance.

 

Features:

 

High Degassing Efficiency
The degassing efficiency is above 40%, and can be increased by multi-zone continuous degassing. This means there is an increase in contact surface and contact time between bubbles and molten aluminum. Additionally, it adopts a sealed design to preserve an inert headspace over the molten aluminum throughout the entire casting period. This prevents more slag, and eliminates secondary pollution, thus increasing degassing efficiency.

Low Use Cost and Maintenance Frequency
The associated molten aluminum heating and holding system is omitted, thereby reducing consumption. The use of launders for degassing, limits the residual amount of molten aluminum, and metal loss, as well as reducing maintenance cost. Moreover, the launders offer convenience and a quick replacement process.

Easy to Install
The degasser is small and lightweight, making it space-saving. Furthermore, there is no need for any separate structures or foundation to install it, and the degasser is set up in launder connection points. Technical Parameters:

When it comes to items and parameters, the maximum temperature of molten aluminium is 750 degrees Celsius, and the launder shells surface temperature should be 60 degrees Celsius or below. The launder lining life should be at least 12 months. The rotor speed should be between 100 and 600rpm. When it comes to inert gases, high-purity N2, or high-purity Ar, should be used. Degassing efficiency should be at least 35%, with an inlet hydrogen content of 0.30ml or 100gAl, while having a hydrogen content after degassing of 0.22ml/100g when the aluminum liquid is between 700 and 740 degrees Celsius. Power supply should be a voltage of 380V AC, at a frequency of 50Hz, and the total power should be 10KVA or less.
