Furnace Side Type Rotary Flux Injector Molten Aluminium Degassing And Fluxing System Beside Furnace Door
1. Equipment Introduction
The motor drives the graphite rotor immersed in the aluminum liquid to rotate, and at the same time, high-purity nitrogen (or argon) is introduced into the aluminum liquid through the graphite rotor. The rotor of the refiner can effectively break up the inert gas into small bubbles. The bubbles are evenly dispersed and floated in the molten aluminum. The hydrogen partial pressure in the molten aluminum is higher than that in the bubbles, and the hydrogen will diffuse into the inert gas and float to the liquid surface with the bubbles, thereby effectively reducing the hydrogen content in the molten aluminum.

The furnace side rotary flux injector can be installed between two holding furnace and implement the degassing process in the holding furnace to remove the hydrogen and impurities. One device can serve two holding furnace which requires less space when the space is a constraint for equipment installation.

3. Equipment features
The solubility of hydrogen in molten aluminum is very high, which will reduce the physical properties and machining performance of castings. In order to cast high-quality castings, the content of hydrogen in molten aluminum must be controlled at a lower level.
The whole equipment is firm and rigid, and there is no jitter during use.
The flux feeding mechanism is made of 304 stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant, evenly powdered, and the amount of powder added is infinitely adjustable.
The graphite shaft is connected by block-clip, which has good coaxiality with the rotating spindle of the equipment and is convenient for disassembly and assembly.
Rotating rotor processing requirements are strict, good coaxiality, the vibration is smaller than other competitors’ product.
The rotor shaft can run for a long time at 200 °C environment.
The walking mechanism of the moving trolley adopts special forming guide rail and self-lubricating roller, which is free of maintenance in daily operation.
Compared with the manual fluxing refining method, it can reduce the labor intensity of workers and ensure the refining effect.

4. Working process
1. Furnace burner stop melting the raw material, and open the side door on the furnace.
2. Remotely controlled the electrical trolley nearby the furnace door
3. Plug the electrical power socket and compressed argon/nitrogen
4. Remotely control the rotary flux injector to work according the setting process automatically
5. The rotor moves into the furnace before the impeller is immersed into the molten aluminium
6. Argon/nitrogen blows out of the rotor and the rotor move into the molten aluminium until the impeller is immersed.
7. Start to rotate the rotor and impeller
8. The flux feeding system works and inject the flux into the molten aluminium
9. When the refining process is done, the alarm starts for alert the worker
10. Rotor stop to spin and move the impeller out of the impeller
11. Compressed argon/nitrogen stops to blow out of the rotor
12. The rotor moves back to waiting position and the degassing process is finished.
13. Remotely control the rotary flux injector to other position for next holding furnace degassing and fluxing process.
