Product Description:

The High Efficient Aluminium Purification Return Launder Type In-line Rotory Degassing Unit (LDU) is designed with degassing rotors mounted between a melting furnace and casting machine to create a degassing zone divided into multiple parts for multiple-level in-line degassing. The number of rotors needed is determined by the flow rate of molten aluminum. This allows for higher degassing efficiency.

 

Features:

Bubble technology degassing has a high degassing efficiency, above 40%. It can achieve multi-zone continuous degassing, increasing the contact surface and contact time between bubbles and molten aluminum; with the sealed design,it can maintain an inert headspace above the molten aluminum surface during the entire casting period,preventing more slag and eliminating secondary pollution. In addition, the low use cost and maintenance frequency of this degassing process are advantageous. By removing the molten aluminum heating and holding system, consumption is reduced. Launders are adopted for degassing, cutting the residual amount of molten aluminum and the loss of metal, and the low maintenance cost and convenient and fast replacement of launders saves time.

Moreover, the installation of bubble degassing is also convenient; its small size and low weight offers space-savings and no structure or foundation is required to be installed. It can be installed in the joint positions of launders, offering a short period of time for on-site commissioning, thereby saving production downtime. Further convenience can be seen with the alloy conversion, as there is no heating device or deep box, meaning there is no need to eliminate the residual aluminum liquid in the degassing tank when changing the alloy. Operating bubble degassing is also very easy; it has no special starting procedure, a simple molten aluminum drainage device and convenient slag removal. Bubble technology degassing is especially suitable for semi-continuous casting lines for the production of cast rods and renewable aluminum ingots, as this casting technology features frequent alloy replacement.
