HYDEB's Rotary Flux Injector utilizes a split-block and clamp connection for its graphite shaft assembly, as opposed to a traditional internal threaded connection. This design makes the installation and removal of the graphite shaft remarkably straightforward.
During installation, it is easy to verify that the shaft is correctly seated. During removal, the design prevents the graphite component from becoming irreversibly seized inside the steel coupling due to thermal expansion and contraction. This eliminates the need for destructive removal methods—such as drilling out the graphite rod—which are labor-intensive and time-consuming.
Result: Fast rotor replacement, typically completed within half an hour.
The graphite rotor is manufactured using isostatic pressing technology, enhancing its wear and corrosion resistance. With a rotor deflection of less than 0.5mm, maximum service life is ensured.
The traveling guide rail is constructed from heavy-duty channel steel. The traveling rollers are compound rollers with dual-side positioning, which, together with the guide rail, ensures smooth, flexible, and wobble-free movement of the refining machine. The bearings inside the rollers are self-lubricating, requiring no maintenance during operation. This configuration of guide rails and rollers guarantees reliable performance of the refining machine in high-temperature, dusty foundry environments.
The system is equipped with an external compressed air cooling unit. It employs a recirculating cooling design to protect the bearings and prevent the high-temperature graphite shaft from loosening.
