BDU Box-type Online Rotor Degassing Equipment
Hyde BDU box-type online rotor degassing equipment is usually installed between the furnace tapping port and the filter box. The melt flows into the degassing equipment box, and the inert gas is broken into a large number of dispersed bubbles by the rotating rotor, which enter the aluminum melt. Through collision, capture, surface adsorption, and partial pressure effect, the hydrogen and oxidized inclusions in the melt (large ones by collision, small ones by radial interception) are carried out of the aluminum liquid surface to form dross as the gas floats upward. The aluminum alloy melt flows out from the outlet of the degassing device (located at the lower part of the dross), thus realizing the purpose of continuous online refining.

Fully Sealed Box to Improve and Stabilize Degassing Effect
Dynamic and static seals are adopted at the positions where the box cover may communicate with the outside; double-layer sealing packing is used between the box cover and the box body; the inlet and outlet of the box body adopt a submerged flow design.
The overall sealing of the box ensures that during casting, an inert headspace is maintained above the aluminum liquid surface, preventing the aluminum liquid from oxidizing to produce more oxidized slag, eliminating secondary pollution, and improving degassing efficiency.
The overall sealing of the box prevents moist air from entering the degassing box, so that the degassing effect is not affected by climate and remains stable.

The depth of the box and the internal shape of the box (polygon, local boss, etc.) are designed to prevent turbulence on the aluminum liquid surface, ensuring the stability of the aluminum liquid surface.
High Dispersion Design of Gas in Degassing Chamber
Optimize the internal geometric dimensions of the box to make the dispersed gas bubbles in a saturated state in the entire melt;
The degassing chambers are separated by partitions to control the flow direction of the melt, realize multi-zone continuous degassing, and increase the contact area and contact time between bubbles and aluminum liquid;
The eccentric placement of the rotor enhances the mixing friction between the dispersed gas and the aluminum liquid, increases the chance of contact with impurities, thereby improving the purification effect.

The rotor is one of the core components of the degassing device. The rotor stably maintains its shape and size during the service period, which directly determines the treatment effect of the aluminum melt. It is crucial to select a rotor with high resistance, anti-oxidation, anti-aluminum liquid corrosion, high strength and long service life to achieve a stable degassing effect.
The isostatically pressed graphite silicon carbide rotor has good thermal shock resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and its service life can reach more than 3 months; the silicon nitride rotor will not have any wear, and the degassing efficiency will not change, so it can ensure long-term stable degassing effect.
